The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 45 year anniversary of Marriage Encounter at a ribbon cutting ceremony in May.
Stillwater-based nonprofit MN Marriage Encounter was established in 1972 and is an inter-faith Christian experience welcoming married couples of all faiths or no faith.
For 45 years Marriage Encounter has been seeking to help couples stay married by nurturing, enriching and supporting them during retreat weekends. Marriage Encounter seeks to offer an opportunity for married couples to experience deep and loving communication with each other and with God. They serve traditional marriages between a man and a woman.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating 45 years for Marriage Encounter and I’m proud of the work being done to save and serve marriages in Minnesota, surrounding states and beyond,” said Mary Jackson, executive director.
