Robert “Bob” Klund, 80, of Stillwater, passed away peacefully on Sept. 20, 2013. Bob is preceded in death by wife, Jacqueline. He is survived by daughter, Cindy (Jim) Hurley, and granddaughter, Caitlin; son, Steve (Cindy); brothers, Andrew, Gary (Judie) and Tom (Pat); sister-in-law, Cheryl Rasmussen (Dick); brother-in-law, Ron Sockness (Juanita), and many, many friends. Bob lived each day as if it was his last and delighted in making people laugh through his predictable banter; if you knew him, you knew that he cherished your friendship. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Bob truly was a mechanical genius and well-respected salesman. Hands down, he was THE best storyteller, pretty darn good with his slight-of-hand magic tricks and his joy in life was transforming himself into “Jinxie the Clown” for the Shriner organization. His travels took him to places around the world in planes, trains and RVs. His opportunities to travel these last few years were limited but he rarely missed an opportunity, rain or shine, for morning coffee with his friends. Bob, you will be missed so much more than you ever could have imagined. Love, your family and friends. A memorial service followed by lunch will be held noon Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard on the northwest corner of Minnesota 36 and County Road 5 in Stillwater. Visitation is two hours prior to memorial service. Private family interment is at Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu flowers memorials are preferred to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
