LAKE ELMO — A nine-year-old boy remains in a St. Paul hospital today after he was struck by a motorcycle Wednesday evening outside his home.

A Minnesota State Patrol accident report identified the victim as Pierre Leque. The report notes that Leque suffered an unspecified serious injury.

Leque was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul and later transferred to Gillete Children’s Hospital. Leque’s condition was not released at the family’s request.
The accident occurred about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday when the motorcyclist, identified in the report as 46-year-old Michael Lehman of Lake Elmo, was traveling westbound on Minnesota 5 and pulled on to the right shoulder to address a mechanical issue with his motorcycle.
