Girls swimming and diving — The Ponies set a conference record in the 200 medley relay (Samantha Hajlo, Cathryn DeShaw, Rachel Frederickson and Kelsey Hausken) and Frederickson added records in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke to help Stillwater to a 101-83 Suburban East Conference victory over rival Mounds View.
Boys cross country — Jake Watson finishes first and the Ponies place five runners in the top 11 to outdistance Wayzata 35-54 for top honors at the Marshfield Columbus Invitational. Ricky Furseth (fourth), Andrew Boldt (ninth), Joe Moore (10th) and Elliott Saltzman (11th) complete the scoring for the Ponies.
Girls soccer — Beating the goalkeeper and the clock, Katelyn Ley tallies the game-winner with 22 seconds remaining in the second overtime to lift Stillwater to a 1-0 Suburban East Conference girls’ soccer victory over Park.
Volleyball — Lyndsey Dixon finishes with 13 kills in 25 attempts with no hitting errors in the entire match as the Stillwater volleyball team knocks off defending Suburban East Conference champion and returning state qualifier Forest Lake 25-23, 16-25, 25-23 and 27-25. Heather Harvey contributes 16 digs and 11 kills while Lisa Kasperson serves 11 for 11 with 10 kills and 11 digs.
