Cameron Edward Ulrich, beloved son and brother and brave warrior, 7, of Oak Park Heights, passed away on July 31, 2013, after his battle with congenital heart disease. A special thank you goes out to the many staff of St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn., where Cameron spent his last 10 months. Cameron was an amazing boy, great friend and had an amazing smile. He loved swinging on swings, dogs, art, reading and building forts with his sister. He is preceded in death by grandpa, Steve Ulrich; great-grandparents, Pops Ulrich, Carol Christenson, and Romie and Florence Junker. He was loved by his parents, Robert and Kari; sister, Sydney; grandparents, Rosemary and Bob Knutson, and Sue and Steve Fredricksen; great-grandparents, Hazel Ulrich, and Dorothy and Edward Fredricksen; aunt, Beth Ulrich; aunt and uncle, Lisa and Mike Flach, and many extended family and friends. Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, with service at 11 a.m. at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road in Woodbury. Private interment is Wednesday at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Cameron Ulrich Benefit Fund at all First State Bank and Trust locations. The family asks that everyone attending Tuesday’s visitation and service wear the color red as that is Cameron’s favorite color.
