Jarold Dulon 83, of Stillwater, passed away Thursday July 25, 2013, at Boutwells Landing in Oak Park Heights. Jarold was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Anna (Mercier) Dulon; infant son, Michael; infant grandson, Matthew Dums: sister, Irene Flandrick; brother, Alfred, and twin brother, Harold. Jarold is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Blackwell), with whom he shared 63 years of marriage; his children, Ann (Larry) Havel, Bruce (Cindy) Dulon, Diane (Laurence) Betterley, and Audrey (Michael) Dums; his grandchildren, Michael and Katie Josephson, Ryan and Mark Dulon, Christina (Bryan) Norlien and Ben Betterley, Jacob and Jessica Dums, Jessica (Nick) Skudlarek and Jacci (Kyle) Waltz; great-grandchild, Vienna; Jarold’s sister, Bernadette Poliachik, and sister-in-law Mary Jean Dulon. Jarold farmed in Star Prairie Township, served in the military and retired from Andersen Corp. His favorite pastimes included singing and playing the guitar, dancing, hunting and cheering on the Packers. Jarold will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather who put his family first. His loving family will forever feel blessed by his quiet strength and guidance over the years. A mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, located at 611 S. Third St. in Stillwater. Visitation is one hour prior to the service in the church atrium. Simonet Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and interment is at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Bayport.
