The Junior Olympic National Championships drew nearly 450 athletes and was the final competition as a Rising Stars gymnast for Rott, who will continue her career at Auburn University starting this fall.

Competing at the same time and location as the J.O. National Championships, Amy Enright of Stillwater was among 192 athletes who competed in the Junior Olympic National Invitational Tournament. Enright’s top finish came in the balance beam where she placed 12th.

Rott, Enright and the other Rising Stars gymnasts recently celebrated the conclusion of the 2013 competitive season with the annual team banquet.
