BAYPORT – The Bayport City Council is expected to select its next city administer from four finalists by the end of next week.

The finalists are:

  •  Logan Martin, a community development specialist and a former administrative intern for the city of Oakdale.
  •  Ron Moorse, Afton city administrator and former Arden Hills city administrator for two years and Orono for 16 years. He was also an assistant to the city manager in Roseville for 10 years.

Former Bayport City Adminstrator Mitch Berg resigned March 2, then tried to withdraw his resignation. The council placed Berg on administrative leave and investigated allegations that Berg violated the city’s code of conduct and personnel policy. The investigation was closed when the council accepted Berg’s resignation.
