WOODBURY — Remi Larson led a balanced scoring attack with six goals as Stillwater breezed past Woodbury 24-4 in Wednesday’s Suburban East Conference girls’ lacrosse game.

Only Cretin-Derham Hall has stayed within seven goals of the Ponies (6-0 SEC, 6-0) this season and Stillwater has outscored its opponents by a combined 118-37.

Larson scored five consecutive goals in the last 10 minutes of the first half to give the Ponies a 16-3 halftime lead. Kate Sheely contributed five goals for the Ponies and Dana Almquist totaled four goals and four assists. Carter Sanderson chipped in with three goals and two assists while Katie Casto and Emma Wiessner added two goals apiece.

Stillwater’s final goal of the game served as a nice birthday present for Maddy Sova, who scored with 1:23 remaining.

Marie Bonine turned away six of the nine shots she faced in goal for the Ponies before Britt Pooley took over midway through the second half.

l Lisse Bohan scored three goals to help lead Stillwater to a 14-0 win over Woodbury in the JV game on Wednesday, marking the third shutout of the season for the Ponies (6-0).
