ST. CROIX FALLS, Wis. — Tangen Drug of St. Croix Falls was named April Business of the Month by The Falls Chamber of Commerce.

Tangen Drug has been a family-owned business since 1900, first opening in Taylors Falls, then moving to downtown St. Croix Falls in 1934. Current owners and pharmacists, Kevin Nelson and Dwight Ferguson, have been business partners since 1988, when Kevin’s parents retired. Phillip Nelson has been working many years as a part-time pharmacist.

The newest pharmacist to join the Tangen Drug team is Josh Tempesta, a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy. Josh grew up in Cumberland, Wis., so working in a small town, locally-owned pharmacy is a natural fit for him.

Besides pharmaceuticals, Tangen also offers a large assortment of Hallmark cards and unique gifts.

The Falls Chamber of Commerce represents members throughout the St. Croix River Valley and is a registered 501(c) (6) organization supported by volunteers and members.
