George Nixa, born Feb. 7, 1928, in Rochester, Minn., passed away Feb. 2, 2013, in Stillwater.
George is lovingly remembered by his children, Diane (Kurt Hochfeld), Dan (Pat), and Jack; grandson, Alex; siblings, Bob and Judy; former spouse, Pat Syverson, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held in the spring. Memorials are preferred to Good Samaritan, Stillwater.
I just found out that George has passed away. I was involved with George, along with my dad Ganus Deiss, in several business dealings through the years. George always had a passion to sell. Building Materials were in his blood. I also know of the demonds he fought on a personal level. He is one of the last of the guys that truely could make a “deal”. God rest his soul.
