A gathering to celebrate the life of Scott Osborne Conrad of Stillwater, and formerly of Duluth, Minn., is 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Bradshaw, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard at the northwest corner of Minnesota Highway 36 and County Road 5 in Stillwater.
In lieu of flowers, Scot prefers memorials to the Washington County Historical Society, 602 Main St. North, Stillwater, MN 55082.
Scott died Jan. 17, 2013, at the age of 57 after a prolonged illness. He was preceded in death by grandparents and his father, Ed Conrad. He is survived by his mother, Muriel Conrad of Stillwater; sister, Jane (Don) Richardson, and nephews, Donnie and David, of Eagan; uncle, Kermit Halden of Scottsdale, Ariz.; aunt Jane Conrad of Fort Myers, Fla, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Scott lived a courageous life with grace and inner strength, and he left a positive impression on all whose lives he touched. Special thanks to Edge and Marlys Bronson, Harry and Cheryl Halden, Barb and Bob Ponzetti, Dan Sheridan, Rick Ohman, Dan Klema and the rest of the baseball crew. Also thank you to his many caregivers over the years.
