The Stillwater Lift Bridge, shown here with the lift section raised to allow a boat to pass under, re-opens to vehicle traffic at 5 p.m. today. The state Department of Transportation closed the span to vehicles and pedestrians Sept. 10 for a repair and rehabilitation project. The bridge will re-open a week earlier than the original Dec. 14 date.
