Holiday musical comes to Stillwater
Stillwater Area Public Schools has teamed up with community members to put on another hilarious installment of the “Nunsense” musicals. In this production the Little Sisters of Hoboken sing and dance their way through their first-ever televised Christmas special from the convent basement and hilarity ensues.
Performances are 7 p.m. Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 and 2 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Stillwater Area High School auditorium. All seating is general admission and tickets can be purchased by cash or check at the door or reserved by calling 651-351-8109. Tickets cost $9 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
BierCycle caroling tours roll on
Weather permitting, The BierCycle is offering caroling tours during the month of December. BierCycle provides the music, customers provide the drinks.
Caroling tours take place at select dates and times from Dec. 1 through 29. Tickets cost $39 and includes a drink and dessert at The Dock Cafe and are fully refunded if the tour is cancelled due to weather.

Agency offers counseling services
Stillwater-based FamilyMeans offers a full range of mental health and counseling services to clients at three locations in the St. Croix Valley and metro area.
In Stillwater and Hudson, Wis., FamilyMeans offers group, individual, familyl and couples counseling, therapy and psychiatric care to people of all ages. The Center for Grief, Loss & Transition in St. Paul provides specialized programs and services designed to help children and adults through complicated grief, loss and trauma.
FamilyMeans staff members also have a presence in many Stillwater and New Richmond, Wis., schools, helping students avoid dealing with accessibility and transportation issues and seeing youths in the familiarity of their school setting.
FamilyMeans also offers therapeutic support groups that include the Children’s Divorce Group that meets Thursday evenings; The Women’s Codependency Group that meets Tuesday evenings, and the Smart Divorce Decisions group that meets Thursday evenings once a month.
