State of district, data warehouse on school board agenda

Independent School District 834 Superintendent Corey Lunn gives his state of the district reports to the ISD 834 School Board Thursday night.

Lunn’s report, information on the district’s new data warehouse and 2012 fiscal year financial statements highlight the board’s learning session and business meeting agendas.

The new data use plan designed to help the district track students progress throughout their school years will be presented at the 5:15 p.m. school board learning session at the Stillwater Public Library.

Lunn presents his state of the district report at the board’s 7:15 p.m. business meeting at Stillwater City Hall. Aaron Neilsen from the audit firm of Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich and Co. and Assistant Superintendent of Business and Administrative Services Ray Queener present the FY 2012 financial statements.

The board will also hear a presentation about the new Youth Development Plan, and welcome international principal exchange participants that arrived in the U.S. last week and have been visiting schools in the area.

The ISD school board meets in a learning session at 5:15 p.m. in the Stillwater Public Library. The board meets for it’s 7:15 p.m. business meeting in the Stillwater City Hall council chambers. Both meetings are open to the public.
