Burglaries, thefts keep officers busy
Numerous burglary and theft calls have kept Stillwater Police officers busy this week. The cases include:
Wednesday
- A political sign was reported stolen at 7:47 p.m. on the 1300 block of Benson Boulevard East.
- CD’s were reported stolen from a car on the 2300 block of Oak Glen about 1 p.m.
- A caller reported about 11:10 a.m. that their vehicle was entered on the 300 block of Birchwood Drive North and a pair of sunglasses were reported stolen.
Tuesday
- A garage was reportedly entered on the 100 block of Myrtlewood Court overnight and a vehicle was rifled through, though nothing was reported stolen.
Monday
- About $500 worth of tools were reported stolen around 1:45 p.m. from a detached garage on the 1200 block of Ramsey Street West.
- 11:40 a.m. A Denali was reported stolen from Cottage Drive about 11:40 a.m. The vehicle was valued at $18,000.
- After returning home from vacation, a resident on Oakridge Court reported that about $11,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a lockbox in their home.
- A burglary was reported Monday morning at a home on the 200 block of Owens Street. Reports staid an unlocked patio door was entered and a purse with a camera and various other items were taken.
