The County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) and the Minnesota Home Ownership Association, in partnership with the library, will present information on how to handle foreclosure situations. The workshop is for anyone who wants to ask questions and get advice from trained foreclosure prevention counselors.
Anyone who is behind on a mortgage, worried about keeping up with mortgage payments and wants to know more about the foreclosure process may attend.

It will help the counselor to respond to any concerns if participants bring the following: any communication received from a lender or loan servicer; proof of income (e.g., recent pay stub, and a copy of a mortgage statement.
