The city council meeting originally scheduled for Aug. 7 was rescheduled for Tuesday night.

A first reading of an ordinance amending the Stillwater city code regarding treatment of stray animals impounded by the city. The ordinance amendment is intended to align with state law, which allows animals to be held for five business days before being euthanized instead of the current city code of three days.
The city council meeting takes place at Stillwater City Hall and begins at 7 p.m.
