Soccer: Red Bulls qualify for USCS National Cup XI

The St. Croix Academy Red Bulls, a U15 boys’ soccer team, recently won the Supergroup Midwest Regional Championship in Chicago to earn a spot in the United States Club Soccer National Cup XI Finals in Waukegan, Ill., on July 27-30.

The Red Bulls knocked off Libertyville FC 2-0 in the semifinals before clipping the Elgin Pumas 2-1 in the championship game. Four members of the team will be sophomores at Stillwater Area High School this fall, including Tashi Tsering, Max Stevens, Sam Keran and Matt Lagus.
