If you have an interest in local history, the Washington County Historical Society (WCHS) could use you to serve as a volunteer at the Warden’s House museum in Stillwater and be a part of the society’s almost 80-year legacy.
The WCHS needs volunteers to guide museum patrons through exhibits, providing historical background and interpretation. Formal training in history is not required and we will ensure that volunteers are comfortable with the information they present on the tour.
Anyone from high school and college students at home for summer vacation to retirees who now have the time to indulge in their interest in history can volunteer at the Warden’s House.
The museum is open weekly Thursday-Sunday and we are flexible with scheduling. If you’d like to know more about volunteering opportunities with the WCHS, contact Sean Pallas at 651-439-5956 or [email protected].
