The Independent School District 834 board will take action on the 2011-2012 final revised budget tonight.
In January the board approved the 2011-2012 revised budget, which is based on the Oct. 1 student enrollment and revised revenue estimates. The 2011-2012 Final Revised Budget has updated information regarding revenues and expenditures for federal programs and grants as well as information from the spring budget adjustments and the recommendation from the Finance Advisory Committee. Salary budgets are also considered in the 2011-2012 final revised budget.
The board will also take action on food services for milk, dairy product and bread distributors for 2012-2013.
The board will also receive two reports before they vote on their ation items. Superintendent Corey Lunn will also present a report on Year Three of Vision 2014, outlining strategic planning for the school district’s vision. District staff will also report an update on the No Child Left Behind Waiver.
The board meets for a learning session at 5:30 p.m. at the Stillwater Public Library followed by its business meeting at 7:15 p.m. Both meetings are open to the public.
