Independent School District 834 Director of Operations Dennis Bloom gives a safety presentation to district employees and local police and fire department representativesduring a district-wide staff development day last Monday. Stillwater Area Public Schools focused on emergency planning and response with appearances by emergency preparedness expert, Dr. Sonaiya Sheperd, her assisstant, Russell Bentley, and representatives from local police and fire departments. The training session focused on reacting to various sefety threats and served as a training session for more than 60 employees. More of these events are expected to occur on a regular basis.
