“Night to Unite” is a nationally recognized event designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, while at the same time provide information on local crime fighting programs within the community.

Bayport and Stillwater will host citywide events, and neighbors in various St. Croix Valley communities will participate in block parties.
The Stillwater Police Department will celebrate “Night to Unite” in Washington Square Park, located at 801 Greeley St. S., 5-9 p.m. Aug. 1.
Through the event, the department aims increase awareness of crime prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, as well as strengthen and develop police-community partnerships.
Highlights of the evening include police officers showcasing police equipment, firefighters, fire trucks, a K-9 unit demonstration, city council members, Lakeview EMS personnel and an ambulance, National Guard members and a humvee, free snow cones, games, prizes and more.

The Bayport Police Department hosts an evening of festivities in Lakeside Park, 5-8 p.m. Aug. 1.
Meet officers and city staff, as well as business owners and other community members.
Featured attractions include vendor booths with giveaways, fire trucks, games, a “youth jumper,” a raffle and food and beverages (while supplies last).
