The fifth and final phase of the Oak Park Senior Living development in Oak Park Heights has been approved. The developer hopes to break ground this fall and complete the project sometime next year.
This phase consists of a three-story, 72-unit senior apartment building with an underground parking garage. It’s the final building planned as part of the senior living community located west of Oakgreen Avenue and north of 58th Street. The building will require removal of two existing townhouse structures.
The Oak Park Heights City Council approved the project’s final phase May 23. The council approved the Planned Unit Development for the overall project in May 2013.
Oak Park Senior Living offers a variety of housing options, including independent and assisted living, as well as memory care.
