Bridge painting begins, no-wake zone returns

MnDOT announced last week that crews have begun painting at St. Croix Crossing and will continue their work as weather permits. When it rains or when temperatures are too cold, crews will suspend work, but may work on Sundays to make up for lost time during the week.

Officials ask boaters to respect the no-wake zone around the bridge, which is being officially reinstated for safety purposes. The Minnesota DNR will enforce the no-wake zone.
