Trinity Lutheran Church hosts American Fiddle Masters concert

The American Fiddle Masters Concert is a virtuosic mix of bluegrass, old-time Appalachian, Scottish, and swing, delivered with spontaneity and fun. Performers will include Brian Wicklund (fiddle), Katie McNally (fiddle), Shauncey Ali (fiddle), Enion Pelta-Tiller (fiddle), Paul Kovac (mandolin), Mike Cramer (guitar) and Kevin Rowe (bass).

Marine on St. Croix, native, Brian Wicklund has been integral to the acoustic music scene for decades. He has toured internationally in bands with Stoney Lonesome, Judith Edelman, Kathy Kallick, Chris Stuart Band, and Brother Mule.

He is a busy studio musician, teacher and author of the best-selling, “American Fiddle Method” published by Mel Bay. Wickland teaches dozens of workshops each year internationally, inspiring students and entertaining them with his wacky sense of humor. He performs across the Midwest and has recorded two CD projects with his band The Barley Jacks.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. concert on June 19 are $18 advanced and $20 at the door. Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 115 Fourth St. N. in Stillwater.
