A brand new car!
Rachel Olson says she tried not to get “too excited” about her chances of winning a new Chevy Truck. The Benson, Minnesota woman was a statewide finalist for a new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 4 X 4 truck on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at the Minnesota Ducks
Unlimited (DU) State Convention in Willmar, Minnesota. She randomly selected the winning key fob to honk the horn and flash the lights on
the red Chevy Silverado 4 X 4 double cab.
“When I saw those lights go on I thought, ‘Oh my gosh! That’s my truck!’ and I raced overand hopped in the driver seat.” Olson said.
Olson was one of five finalists and hundreds of qualifiers earning a chance to win the truck at Minnesota Ducks Unlimited events over the past 12 months.
Stillwater Motors and other Minnesota Chevrolet dealers donated to the competition.
The 30-year old Benson native and her husband, Brady, are the parents of a 2-year old daughter, Adley, and are expecting their second child in August. Rachel is a Dental/Surgical Assistant at Oral Facial Surgery, PA in Willmar, Minn. Brady works as a Loan Officer/Cashier with the State Bank of Danvers in both Benson and Danvers, Minn.
