Guns in the state of Minn.
St. Peter United Church of Christ in Stillwater and Minnesota Council of Churches invite the community to attend a Nov. 6 conversation that will focus not on changing minds, but on softening hearts while discussing a divisive issue in Minnesota.
Conversations about significant issues can sometimes be emotional, pick-a-side and fight-it-out discussions that leave us feeling worse about the people we disagree with, and sometimes worse about ourselves. But there is a way to talk that feels open, honest and impartial, where you can actually be heard and learn about the people with whom you disagree.
Experience this for yourself on Wednesday, November 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Stillwater.
