The 29th annual Fall Colors Fine Art & Music Festival hosted by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce is Oct. 5-6 in North Lowell Park in downtown Stillwater features more than 70 local vendors and artists.
Stillwater’s annual art and music festival highlights handcrafted works of art from talented Upper Midwest artisans. Every item sold is unique, original and handmade. This is a requirement of exhibitors and it sets the Fall Colors Fine Art & Music Festival apart from similar festivals.
According to Chamber event planner Dolly Parker, the Fall Colors Fine Art & Music Festival has been a community tradition for almost 30 years. This year’s event is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
“The Fall Colors Fine Art & Music Festival is one of my favorite events in the valley,” she said. “It appeals to all ages and all artists alike; and is free.”
Live music kicks off on Saturday with performances by CRANKSHAFT and RAMM with Paul Mayasich. Sunday’s musical lineup will start with Gypsy Mania Hot Club and ends with a set from Mick Sterling.
The 29th annual Fall Colors Fine Art & Music Festival is presented by Action Rental, Stillwater/Oak Park Heights Visitor and Tourism Bureau, Maroney’s Sanitation, Frank Fabio Co. and Stillwater Lions Club and produced by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce.
