“Six years ago I fell in love with the voice of Dr. Martin Luther King,” Frantzich said. “He had an angel-tiger inside. He showed us how the soul can be relevant right now, not just for Christians, but for all of us; how Heaven can be worked toward, even experienced, right here, now. King says: ‘When Love is on one side of the coin, Justice is on the other.’ ”
Frantzich releases his second solo album later this summer. To summarize his experience, Frantzich likes to say that he has sung in 1,000 churches and 1,000 pubs.
Frantzich’s performance is part of People’s fourth annual summer outdoor worship services that ran from July through Sunday held at Barker’s Alps Park.  Take Minnesota 95 into Bayport, turn west on County Road 14 next to the Bayport Public Library and go four blocks to the park and chapel is on your left.  Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Refreshments will be served. Call the church office at 651-439-5667 for more information.
