Stillwater Area High School graduate and Pittsburgh Steelers rookie defensive end Brian Arnfelt made two tackles during Saturday’s 18-13 preseason loss to the New York Giants.

Arnfelt, an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern — where he received a degree in communications and recently completed his master’s in sports administration — made a solo tackle on Da’Rel Scott on second down with seven minutes remaining in the third quarter and notched an assisted tackle after a 5-yard gain by Scott on the next play.

Arnfelt and the Steelers, who hold training camp at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa., travel to Washington, D.C., to face the Redskins on Monday in a game that will be televised on ESPN.
