Magician at last reading program

LAKE ELMO — Magician Cheryl Sawyer will amaze, amuse and entertain children and adults at the Lake Elmo Public Library’s last summer reading program at 3:30 p.m. Wendesday.
Summer readers, their siblings, parents and grandparents are invited to Sawyer’s family-friendly program, which ends with an ice cream social.
The library’s summer reading program attracted students from Lake Elmo and the surrounding area with a medallion hunt and various programs to encourage children to read over the summer and prepare for the start of the new school year.
All readers should bring their reading logs to the library to have their final hours verified to redeem their prizes of ice cream from Gorman’s Restaurant, a digitized bookmark and playing time at PINZ.
