Cowen shares stories at library
LAKE ELMO — Master story teller Cathy Cowen of Stillwater will be at the Lake Elmo Library at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to share the “Tales of the Foo-La-La”, her stories about the character who came to life through the imagination of her nephews.
Cowen also will share some of the illustrations currently being drawn for her soon-to-be published book.
Come and share this interactive story telling time and learn about the adventures of the “Foo-La-La.” Parents and children both will become part of the story during this interactive session.
The Lake Elmo library was pleased to give its 1,000th library card since opening last September to Brianna Rivieccio. She recently moved to Lake Elmo from the New York City area and was happy to have a city library with such a wide selection of books. In July, the library also added its 10,000th book to the collection.
