The restored WACO biplane above is one of many unique aircraft on display at the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 54 Aviation Day Fly In-Drive In pancake breakfast Aug. 11 at the Lake Elmo Airport in Baytown Township. The event is 7 a.m. to noon at at Valter’s Aviation at 12402 N. 30th St. and features a breakfast of Sturdiwheat pancakes, Hale’s Sugarbush pure maple syrup, scrambled eggs and breakfast sausage from Brine’s Meat Market in Stillwater, a static display of aircraft and kids activities.
