Children in grades three through six can visit Cooks of Crocus Hill in downtown Stillwater to learn how to make a pizza for all ages from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

Advanced Care Planning for Minnesota residents
Minnesota residents can get the tools needed to assess goals, values and beliefs about end-of-life care. The session offers tips on how to initiate a conversation with loved ones and selecting a surrogate decision maker. Participants will also be given an opportunity to schedule a free, private appointment to complete their advance directive with a member of Lakeview Hospital’s social services staff.
The free class is 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 7 at Lakeview Hospital. Registration is required and can done by calling 651-430-4697.
Look Good … Feel Better
This class teaches beauty techniques to woman cancer patients in active treatment to help them fight appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Look Good … Feel Better is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society, the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation and the National Cosmetology Association.
The free class is 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 12 at Lakeview Hospital. Registration is required and can be done by calling 800-227-2345.
Fun with the Farmer’s Market
Families with children in pre-kindergarten to second grade can join Lakeview Hospital Dietitian Kathy Mead, RD, MPH, for a fun exploration on eating better with your child.
