Knoche memorial service set for Wednesday

 

Former Stillwater High School Athletics Director Connie Knoche passed away on Wednesday at the age of 77.

Knoche, who for 27 years supervised an athletics department that captured 40 MSHSL state titles, spent the past few weeks in home hospice while battling cancer and Parkinson’s disease.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stillwater. Attendees are encouraged to wear their red and black Stillwater Ponies colors. Visitation begins at 4 p.m., with a service to follow.

In accordance with his wishes, Knoche’s body will be donated to the Mayo Clinic for research in order to help others with Parkinson’s disease.
