The evidentiary hearing concerning this Petition will be held on July 16 and 17, 2013, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Lakeland City Hall, 690 Quinnell Avenue N, Lakeland, Minnesota before Administrative Law Judge Ann C. O’Reilly. This is a continuation of the first hearing in this matter held on September 19, 2012.

The only formal parties to this proceeding to date are the Petitioners, City of Lakeland, and West Lakeland Township. The Petitioners have petitioned the State for authority to detach certain land.

Notice is also given that the Registrar has informally appointed Sherwood F. Krosch, whose address is 4675 – 385th Avenue, Elmore, MN, 56027 as successor personal representative of the Estate of the Decedent. Any heir or other interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment of the personal representative. Unless objections are filed with the Court (pursuant to Minn. Stat. 524.3-607) and the Court otherwise orders, the successor personal representative has full power to administer the Estate including, after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters, the power to sell, encumber, lease or distribute real estate.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission for the City of Lake St. Croix Beach, Washington County, Minnesota shall hold a public hearing to hear comments relating to the text amendment to Ordinance 509.05 of the city’s zoning code.

The proposed amendment relates to eliminating the need for grading permits to conduct backfill around structures.  A copy of the proposed amendments will be provided upon request directed to the City Clerk.

This public hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall, 16455 20th Street South, Lake St. Croix Beach, MN 55043

All written and oral comments will be considered. A review of the recommendations of the Planning Commission shall be held by the City Council on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall.
