 Target workers aid HOPE

OAK PARK HEIGHTS — About 17 employees from Target Corp.’s Distribution Department spent 9 a.m. to noon today volunteering at HOPE Adoption & Family Services.

“We’re so excited to welcome this energetic group back to HOPE,” said HOPE Development Director Nancy Lyner.

The same group also came to lend a hand at the nonprofit in May. The volunteers plan to paint and landscape the HOPE outdoors.

During their last visit, the group painted, assisted in mailings and even installed a new TV for improved community training. Target encourages its employees to volunteer, and the distribution department chose HOPE as a worthy nonprofit to help.
In the last year, over 130 volunteers shared their time and talents with HOPE.
