FamilyMeans provides free summer meals at Cimarron

LAKE ELMO — FamilyMeans will provide free lunches and snacks to children living in the Cimarron community starting today and continuing throughout the summer.

The free meals are made possible through a partnership of Concordia Creative Learning Academy (CCLA), CKC Good Food and Second Harvest Heartland. CKC Good Food is Twin Cities company that specializes in providing food to schools.

Beginning today, children can go to FamilyMeans Cimarron for lunch from 12:30 to 1 p.m. and a snack from 2:30 to 3 p.m. FamilyMeans Cimarron is located at 901 Lake Elmo Ave. North. There will be no meals on Fridays or July 4 and 5. For more information on the program at FamilyMeans Cimarron, contact Jamie Staska at 651-414-9135.

FamilyMeans Landfall at 50 Aspen Way in Landfall provides lunch from 12:30 to 1 p.m. and a snack from 2:30 to 3 p.m. The program starts Monday and runs through Aug. 30. It will be closed Fridays, July 4 and 5 and Aug. 16, 19, 20 and 21.
