HUTCHINSON — The St. Croix Preparatory Academy girls’ and boys’ track teams competed at Monday’s eight-team Hutchinson Relays.
The Lions tied Jordan for seventh in the girls’ competition with 46 points, led by runner-up finishes in the sprint medley and distance medley relays. Gabby Douglass, Lauren Suszko, Carly Scheuerman and Taylor Lather posted a time of 4:32.7 in the sprint medley relay while Mallory Boychuk, Scheuerman, Lather and Lauren Strohbehn were clocked in 13:31.4 in the distance medley relay.
Willmar was the team champion with 210 points, which was 46 points better than Waconia (164).
The SCPA boys totaled 45 points on the strength of fourth-place finishes in the long jump with Cameron Mehls, Nick Richardson and Logan Weiss (54-10 1/2) and the 4×400 relay with Mehls, Richardson, Michael Gutierrez and Ian Bramstedt (3:41.8). The Lions also placed fourth in the 4×800 relay (9:14.4) and the sprint medley relay (3:57.7)
