The Youth Service Bureau and the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon organization joined to honor local heroes at the Washington County Historic Courthouse Saturday. Representatives from the Bayport and Stillwater Police departments, Stillwater Fire Department, Lakeview emergency medical services, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army were at the event during which children explored law enforcement vehicles and could make cards, have their faces painted and pet police dogs.
