Let’s talk transport

Washington County Commissioner Gary Kriesel, Laura Kramer, Thrivent Lutheran Action Team Leader, and Todd Streeter, Executive Director of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce came to Community Thread’s transportation fair on April 6 at Crosswinds Church in Stillwater. At the fair local transportation service providers offered free resources The fair was hosted by the Transportation Networking Group (TNG) of Community Thread which provides opportunities for networking, support and information sharing transportation coordinators who serve Washington County residents. The goal of the group is to improve transportation services. Other upcoming Community Thread events include: National Volunteer Recognition Week, April 21-27, Community involvement awards ceremony, April 23 at 9 a.m., and Spring Into Service on May 4.
