Appointments made to county emergency, 4-H panels

WashCo_logoResidents from Stillwater and West Lakeland Township were appointed to separate Washington County committees Tuesday by the Board of Commissioners.

John Rheinberger of Stillwater was named to the county’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee as a local government representative for a term expiring Dec. 31.

The Public Health Emergency Preparedness Advisory panel consults and makes recommendations to the county Community Health Board regarding implementation of local health duties as part of a grant agreement between the county and state Department of Health.

Lori Lindquist of West Lakeland Township was appointed to the Minnesota Extension Committee for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2015. Lindquist participated in 4-H activities and is interested in promoting 4-H events and developing new 4-H leadership.
The Extension committee promotes educational programs and services provided by extension agents  in agriculture, economic and human development, community leadership and environment and natural resources.
