Pair join YSB board
The Youth Service Bureau recently added Jennifer Wallen and Maria Olson to the agency’s board of directors, YSB officials announced.
Wallen, of Woodbury, is a director at Thomson Reuters and brings strong connections to the Woodbury area and the for-profit community. Olson has spent her career working with children and served nine years as a school psychologist with Independent School District 834.
“Both of these ladies bring a passion for kids and a burst of energy to YSB’s board,” said Mary Planten-Krell, YSB’s executive director. “We are excited by the connections they bring and the enthusiasm they have for supporting youth and families.”
Wallen and Olson join seven other YSB board members representing communities where they work and with a variety of backgrounds, including law enforcement and mental health services.
