Described as a “food lover’s shop,” Spice & Tea Co. recently celebrated its grand opening in downtown Stillwater with a Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Spice & Tea Co. is at 212 S. Main St. and offers fresh spices, teas, sugars, salts and blends packaged in-house. The store also has a kitchen used to promote its product blends.

“Whether you are a beginner or an expert in the kitchen, we are here to guide you in your cooking adventures,” said store owner Nancy Figueroa. “We want to help you expand your menu and introduce new tastes from around the world.”

Figueroa and her staff can be found in the store’s kitchen on weekends making their famous chipotle brownies and other treats.

“Our kitchen is a way to show our customers what baking and cooking with our products tastes like,” she said.
