Spring weight restrictions for Washington County roads go into effect 12:01 a.m. Friday, according to county Public Works Department officials.
The spring road weight restrictions remain in effect for eight weeks or unless special circumstances dictate otherwise.
All county roads with spring weight restrictions are posted with signs indicating each road’s weight limit. During spring raod weight restrictions, the county does not issue permits for overweight transport, except in cases of a serious public health emergency.
