A Mass of Christian burial for Clyde W. Theits, 81, of Stillwater, is 10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at The Church of St. Michael, 611 S. Third St. in Stillwater. Interment is at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard on the northwest corner of Minnesota Highway 36 and County Road 5 in Stillwater and one hour prior to the Mass at church. Clyde passed away suddenly on March 4, 2013, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marge; children, Dennis (Janet), Michael (Julie), Thomas (Lisa), Linda (Mark) Thul and Donald (Patty); 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Clyde was a Navy veteran proudly serving his country from 1951 to 1955. He retired from 3M after 36 years. He was a longtime volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and served as president of the Valley View Garden Homes. Clyde enjoyed spending time with his family at the cabin on Horseshoe Lake in Wisconsin.
