William ‘Bill’ Henning

William “Bill” Henning, 93, a World War II Army veteran, entered Heaven on Feb. 24, 2013, surrounded by his beloved family: loving wife, Ruby; son, Steve (Norma); daughters, Judy (Al), Nancy (Karl) and Patricia; grandsons, Billie and Nicholas; granddaughters, Paula and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Bradley, Allison, Cameron and Cole; great-great-granddaughter, Chloe; brother, Albert; niece, Susan (David), and nephew, David (Joni).

Bill was a lifelong Stillwater resident, faithful member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, life member of Lake Elmo VFW Post No. 5725 and was one of the few remaining members of the A and D Last Man’s Club of Stillwater.

Service is 11 a.m. Friday at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 609 South Fifth St. in Stillwater. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard on the northwest corner of Minnesota Highway 36 and County Road 5 in Stillwater and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment is private at St. Peter Cemetery in Afton.

A special thank you to the Lakeview Hospice nurses for their loving care. Memorials are preferred to the family.
