SCPA: Lions clinch at least a share of MCSC title

 

St. Croix Preparatory Academy outscored Spectrum 38-25 in the second half to pull away for a 57-43 Minnesota Charter School Conference win on Thursday, clinching at least a share of the league title.

Rose Kaetterhenry and Lita Schollmeier supplied 19 and 16 points apiece for the Lions (7-0 MCSC, 13-8), who can clinch the conference title outright with a victory over Minnesota Transitions on Feb. 22. SCPA outscored the Sting 11-0 at the free throw line.
