Wrestling: Jordan wins No. 100 for Stillwater

FARMINGTON — Senior Austin Jordan joined the 100-victory club on Thursday night, but the Stillwater wrestling team fell short against Eagan and Farmington in a triangular meet at Farmington High School.
The Ponies lost by the narrowest of margins against Eagan after the teams tied 33-all. Officials went to the sixth criteria — most first points scored — to determine the Wildcats the winners. Stillwater also suffered a 50-25 setback against Farmington.
Jordan entered the night with 99 victories and he pinned Ian McShane of Eagan in 1:34 and Santana Perdome of Farmington in 1:22 to win the 100th and 101st matches of his varsity career and become just the 11th Stillwater wrestler to do so.
